    OK,
    went to homedepot, i purchased the rivet gun and the rivets 24 bucks. The salesperson didnt care for the wing style, he said they would end up chewing up the fiberglass. He said the rivets would hold firm.

    again thanks for your help, can always count on getting help here.

    i drill all the way through the fender and put stainless carige bolts in easier to change and i think the 4 stainless carige bolts stand out nice and look great giving it that old school look

    why not.

    They are used to put in my clearance lights on fiberglass.

    most people like to do away with those style nuts because they tend to rust up and when you try and take the bolts out the tear up the fiberglass. thats why with things like these mud flaps i drill all the way through and use stainless bolts and nuts
