Mud Flaps

    Cant remember who it is, UPS or Fedex maybe, but I see some trucks set up with side brackets on the tractor to store the flaps when they're pulling the low floor pups.

    Our trucks are equipped with those side mounts also for storing the mudflaps. I run them on tractor all the time with no problems but our 5th wheel is moved pretty far back.

    Do you need mudflaps on the tractor when you're pulling a trailer?

    From everything I've read it varies state to state. It varies even how long and wide and how far off the ground and how much they sail while driving too. It's crazy. Nit picking over mudflaps is a bit ridiculous if you ask me.
