Does anyone know what HOS rules are followed when a driver drives both a motor coach and a dump truck ? They have two different sets of rules, following both won't work. Motor coach job is year round. Dump truck job is seasonal.

Simple: An 8 hour break is fine before a shift driving the motor coach, but when you're in the dump truck, you'd better have had your 10 hour break before starting out. When you're in the motor coach, don't drive more than 10 hours, but when you're in the dump truck you're good through the 11th hour of drive time.

Basically, you've got to be compliant with the HOS for whatever it is you're driving at the time you're driving it.
