I mean no disrespect in any way, but I do feel it's necessary to state the obvious in this situation.

In Texas, they would've brought a knife to a gunfight.

That being said, I am not Canadian, and if those laws are something that y'all are satisfied with, then it's no business of mine to tell you how to live. But regardless of what laws are passed, it's always been illegal to murder someone. I do not understand how restricting lawful citizens from means of self defense could ever be considered as a logical solution.

I would rather be shot than stabbed, at least if you are shot at someone might come to your rescue after hearing shots.

Someone with a big knife can get 2-3 good fatal stabbings into you and silently walk away.

Some Sick people in this world these days.

They caught him alive about 3:30 pm today.
Then within an hour he was magically dead.
Nothing suspicious here, just the police saving an expensive trial.
More likely it seems he cut himself when capture was imminent.
Looking at the map, I’d say he tracked along a creek from the original crime scene that leads into a lake to the town where he popped up in today and stole a car while brandishing a knife. 30 minutes later he was captured.

    HaulinConestoga Thanks this.
