A basic tool box with basic tools. Plus, I like to keep a ball-peen hammer by the seat for bumping tires and personal protection, and a 2-3 lb engineer's hammer for dealing with frozen brake drums and stuck slider pins

5th wheel puller, bungees, basic hand tools including a basic set of open/box wrenches, leather-man multi-tool, multi-meter, bottle of dish soap, glass cleaner, box of rags, 5# or 10# bag of cat litter. I personally use surplus ammo cans to store most of my misc tools and straps in to make it easy to move them and to keep things from rolling around under the bunk. this is in addition to the other tools mentioned above.

Camelbak MULE 100 oz. Hydration Pack
Full of good tequila or vodka. You need seep or two after you get closer to all PROFESSIONAL drivers on the road. Just to calm your stress.

    Gabru Thanks this.

Start collecting old t-shirts. They make awesome multipurpose rags. I cut them up in big chunks.

I agree on the large scale / laminated; don'tcha think the 2017 is sufficient, until it's actually 2018?

CB suggestions for the newbies? I've got a pretty good tweaked Cobra, but I'm no expert, like you, man.
