    A coffee maker.

People don't know how to make coffee, especially those Flatlanders.

A French press requires no electricity and makes great coffee and hot water is free at the truck stop

As far as clothing goes I swear by Duluth Trading Firehose pants....they're quality is good and for me much easier to move in while working and sweating.

I'ts almost all I wear. EVERYthing Duluth.. the wicking skivvies... Armachillo or even the "buck naked". And their socks, are the best. I actually don't HATE my feet at the end of the day. Yeah, they are pricey, but hey........ I'm worth it. Comfort, man!

    Gabru and tony97905 Thank this.

Funny you mention socks....I am hard on them and I started buying Snap-On socks when I was still turning wrenches and still do to this day. They last forever, Made in USA and very comfortable with steel-toed boots.

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.

Are they better than Duluth's?!? As in Snap On Tools "socks?" I'm open for suggestions. I have sweaty feet even in the winter when boots freeze.

I've never worn Duluth socks but I tried every "boot sock" known to man and NEVER got more than 6 months out of them before wearing the toes out...Ive got some of these that are over 2 years old. I buy the black ones right off the tool truck, about $5/pair.

The best boot socks I've found were the standard issue Air Force boot socks.
