Yes others are available. You don't have to have a dial type gauge on it. But do get a long one as it will be a lot easier on you when checking the inside tires.
Also, I always carry some WD40 and duct tape.

Those cheaper ones might work but can be reading wrong, find one someone knows is right to check, then a long hose with a gladhand on one side and air chuck on other to fill up a tire when needed, also a clean towel and window cleaner so all the windows and mirrors can be clean help, plus all basic hand tools.

Then get yourself a dozen or so valve caps so when you get inspected all your caps are on, some find it easier to reach over and take the ones on the truck next to them instead of having a supply, going capless can get you a ticket.

Brass quick connects and assorted fittings in the sizes of all the airlines on the truck. And spare glad hands, air brake antifreeze, big crescent wrenches, spare fuses
