Books were mentioned. I recommend a Kindle or something similar, or whatever tablet you like. Can bring all the books, music, etc on it. I could never travel with my physical copies of my books. Weigh a ton an to hard to pick just a couple. My kindle solves that...I got about 50 books on my kindle, not to mention the music, podcasts, movies, etc. Save you space an they don't cost very much. Make you grab an SD card though if you go the electronic book route. So you'll have no storage issues.

Can't help with the rest, but maybe that will help you or another down the road.

You can get prescription sunglasses, or Wal-Mart sells wraparound sunglasses that go over them for $22.

I got a pair of polarized "wear overs" at Shopko for about $25. They fit nicely over my prescription frames.

They're really excellent for those times when you're driving into the sun, in the evening so the sun is low, and it just rained, the road is wet, and you're otherwise blinded.

Mine sort of do, they're tortoiseshell, yikes, but man what a difference that polarized lens makes in the glare!

Well it's half way through 2018 now. So I figure bring plenty of charging power for you phones, headsets, laptop, elog, and an backups for every one of these. Because that the bare essentials in these times. And I hate pointing it out.
Edit I forgot about the video camera, and drones. Must haves for being YouTube famous. Lots of charging capacity needed.
