Oh and for the record, my fine was $20, and $50 prosecuter fee. $70 all together smh! Wow, but it's all about the value of the lesson and applying it for the future. I lost a lot of revenue over $70 bucks, that's life tho at times. Go figure! I'm just very excited it's all over, y'all be safe out there and PROTECT YOUR CDL! This could have been much worse than it already was. :)

I'm not sure how it is where you are. But here in Florida I have a lawyer that can get me out of virtually any kind of speeding ticket. No its not cheap,.. but then how much is your career worth to you?

Before I decided to get back into trucking I had some points from tickets including a suspension on my record from accumulation of points and he made everything go away. As the lawyer explained it to me,.. its the money they want. The more you can afford, the easier it is to 'Make it go away'.

15 over is bad,.. but not that bad. Now expand that to try street racing and a multitude of speeding and exhibition of speed violations. I decided to clean up my act as I needed to secure my next career move after I lost my job. If they can do it here,.. I dont see why they couldnt do it there.

    Edit:

I guess I should have read to the end before I made my post.

Glad you got it taken care of.

    Peace.

    Hurst.
