Does anyone have any other views on TransAm? Is it a good company if you are a company driver?

If not. What is a good company to work for, for someone who has only 4 months experience behind the wheel?

Thanks! I have been talking to a recruiter from prime and, they just came back with my background check and all that. I can start in a few days. I just don't know much about them either.
So, Prime is a good company then?

Search the word Prime in the search menu and make your decision or read about leasing trucks AGAIN as it apparently hasn't sunk in yet about what a lease really is!

Oh, I'm not going to lease! Do you have to lease to work for prime? They didn't say anything to me about it.

Can't compare TA to any other company since this is my 1st. As a mega fleet, you'll be micromanaged to death. You'll probably avg 2500 miles to start then go up. I've had as much as 3600 but usually run around the 3 k range. We're mostly central to the northeast. You may have enough experience, that they'll only take you as an L/O.
Like Rollover said, use the search function. I'm on several different threads about this company and have tried to give both the good and bad, as seen from my point of view.

    Myq Thanks this.
