Let me ask this question.. Are you paying a full trk. ld. rate or a ltl. rate?
If full trk. ld. and he has other freight on, I would not be paying them full rate then.. Seeing how they decided to put other freight with your trk... -
LTL. I fully understand that they will use the remainder of the truck also, etc etc. AND as I stated I don't care if it arrives Monday or Tuesday. I wasn't pushing to get it here today. The driver volunteered that he would be here Friday when I spoke with him on Thursday (and caught me by surprise) and when I followed up to get an ETA today at 1pm he chose to fabricate a breakdown story rather than just tell me he had 3 other stops, which I would have fully understood.
Also, apparently dispatch thinks he has long ramps to unload my truck but the driver says his ramps are only 6 feet long (he loaded using a loading dock at the farm that sold me the truck) and asked me for help unloading. Which I don't mind. I have long ramps. But now dispatch said I have to unload it or they will take it to storage, unload it with a tow truck and charge me for all three. I read my contract and I certainly don't see that. I think this is going to get weird., I hope not, but, the handwriting is on the wall. -
BIGZILLA Thanks this.
