I probably wont qualify for unemployment. I was only there 2 days and this was actually my 1st load with them. I believe I was too far from the booths so im sure there wasnt a video. The 3rd driver said he didnt know if I hit her first and that all he seen was her jerk in front of him and he rear ended her. But I cant afford to wait another 2-4 weeks for them to figure it out. I had already quit driving for super service on the 9th so its been almost a month since ive had a check.
My 1st accident!!:-(

I would fight the ticket and take the 1st job offer you get. Honestly its the best thing you can do at the given time. I am sorry you had the accident and hope the rest goes smooth for you.
KHCertifiedSweetie and bugsy siegel Thank this. -
;( Watching this with much interest... Good luck! -
Definately what Kinghunter said.....take the first job available and use the money to fight that ticket. With the police citing both of you, they really are not sure what happened. They are just throwing some stuff into the air and hoping something sticks. Depending on the accident report, there is pretty good odds that you are the other person cited have a chance for a not guilty, especially if the insurance companies have taken care of their business.
bugsy siegel Thanks this. -
Sepena the Officer who responded, the witnesses, and the drivers to a legal proceding when fighting the ticket. Include all factors for forensic evidence, and the improper handling of legal procedures regarding and accident. No one is above the law. If the cops ignored the driver who is suspected as going 100MPH, let alone rear ended another vehicle (moving violation, following to close to the vehicle)
Is a misstrial.
And BTW, it wont cost you dime to fight the ticket. except gas or bus fair to the courtroom. You can sepena the Officer by sending a letter to the PD saying you're sepena the forensic report, accident report, and officer who responded to the accident.
And send a letter to each witness, etc. etc.
And send a letter to the court, stating who/what you're sepenaing (I know I'm misspelling it) to be present at the court date. -
I agree with everyone else, I would take one of the other job offers. As long as they are already aware of the incident they shouldn't have any issue if it pops up on an MVR later down the road.
Waiting around for as long as you have been sounds like the company is just trying to get you to quit instead of firing you. I disagree about the reason being that they want to avoid paying unemployment: if you had an accident, I believe they can fire you for job performance issues and not have to pay unemployment (at least that's the way it works in Ohio); they appear to be up to no good though. -
Plus he'll let me bring my puppy!!
The Challenger Thanks this. -
