So after I passed my testing and recieved my CDL A, I went on my five week OTR with a trainer two days later. We had a load of lettuce due to be in Chicago leaving from Fontana, California. Well long ride short, we arrived in Chicago which was my trainers hometown. He decides to take three days off at his home. While in the meantime I'm pretty much stuck in the truck with no keys, no food, and no service. My trainer did tell me that there was a burger shack down the street, but who wants to walk down an unknown street on the south side of Chicago looking for a burger shack? (Not Me). Getting frustrated and hungry, I decided to call the company and inform them of my uncomfortness<<< if that's a word. I was told in quote, "this is apart of a truckers life, and you have to get use to it".. Hell to the naw l said, l rather him take me to a hotel and drop me off instead of a truck stop with rats the size of my axles. I told CR England that l wanted off the truck NOW! "we aren't responsible for finding you away home, so if you want off you have to get home on your own". Devastated I grabbed my things and was off that truck in no less then five minutes. Now here I am in another state I never been to before with an empty stomach. I found out that I had a cousin who stayed just 20mins from where I was a refugee. He came picked me up, showed me the good side of Chicago, bars, clubs, women, it was pretty cool. So the story ended off with me catching a Greyhound Bus back to Los Angeles which might l say was the worse, and longest ride ever.
On top of all this they did, CR England had the nerves to put " No call, No Show on my DAC report and wont even remove it after disputing it numerous of times. UGH!!!!
My Bad experience with CR England

Irondog and THE PLAYMAKER Thank this. -
You should have taken this up with your trainer. If he would have tried to stick me with the truck at some truckstop with no keys, I would have told him to get fawked.
walstib, danny_379, Rollover the Original and 2 others Thank this. -

I agreee~
If C.R.E was my only choice to get my cdls i would just say by-by cause they are not worth it . -
At that time l was done with trucking, however that was in 2005, l decided to get back into driving not to long ago. This time l paid for my own training, and l take my behind the wheel test this coming monday. Oh yeah, CRE also stripped me of my CDL how they did that, l dont know.

NO....a company can't STRIP you of your CDL. They have nothing to do with it.
..and if they do...I want to know HOW.Joetro, Rollover the Original, corneileous and 1 other person Thank this. -
There has to be another reason why your cdl got stripped.

corneileous Thanks this. -
Can't happen. Did you, perhaps, let yours expire by allowing your med card to expire? The state will "demote" ya for that. Anyway, BOL on your test Monday.
