I'd guess yes, since I've been there, too. Not sure what's up with WI and MN having so many ridiculous city names. Stayed in Madison last night. Been a while since I've been to the DeForest TA on a Friday... great all-you-can-eat fish on Fridays. :)

Should also mention that it may have been secured by chains to the little chains that pop up from the trailer bed. We don't have too many trailers like that--only 1 flat, maybe a few low-boys. I know I've used them on an OD load before. If anyone knows the technical name for those, it'd be great to fill me in.

I can't remember the last time I actually ate there. I'm out at that TA everytime hubby comes home though. I don't know where some of the names come from for the towns either. I know some are indian names, and some are named after people. I have no idea where they came up with Waunakee, but I'm glad it's the only one in the world! I grew up in Reedsburg and Baraboo.

Cruised through Madison last night, stopped in Plover. I didn't have the hours to make it down 10. Now I am sitting in Marshfield, waiting. I just got out from under a nightmare of a load. 3k overweight to start, then once that was fixed it shifted while going through a snowstorm.

Nope, not secure by anything. The tarp didn't cover everything, there was about two inches at the bottom with nothing covering it. His straps were all rolled nicely on the winches. It was a day cab, so hopefully he wasn't going to far.
