Try this one or apply for a trucking company cdl school:
cdl driver permit. ... Watchman Services Inc. Helper Trainee CDL Permit Class A Or Class B. Newark, NJ
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If Watchman Services Inc. doesn't work out, apply for trucking company cdl school such as
Stevens Transport - www.stevenstransport.com
They don't do it on the driver side because traffic travels on the right unless you are on a one way so if you need to get the truck over that's the side you will be using. I back and watch my blind side mirror until my trailer wheels get a few inches from the curb and then cut until it looks like the trailer is almost parallel to the curb and then straighten truck out. I'm in a day cab so it's a lil easier because I have the back window to look out too to see where the trailer is. Depending on what you end up doing from work it can be a necessary skill to work on. I probably parallel park five times a day on most days.
@gentleroger or @otterinthewater might know.
Jmelendez1223 Thanks this. -
As @Dave_in_AZ said parallel isn’t often used in daily trucking life. If the OP is looking for setup info I’d go to YouTube and search.
I honestly can’t remember the setup. I think I set the tandems in front of the space and then turn the wheel the correct way into I’m in the spot. LOLLast edited: Jul 31, 2019
