After your 10,000 trainer miles, safety makes you do the exact same test you did before your 10,000 miles over again. It should just be a formality at that point, but the pass rate is far from 100%.

you can go solo right out of your training period provided you go into the reefer division.

    Ga Dawg141 Thanks this.

Yeah they've had me running most of my training miles on i70 in Colorado and exploring the wonders of the Southern California freeway system. As I sit here midway between the Angels' stadium and Disneyland waiting to get loaded, I really wish I would have drawn some West Virginia hills instead lol.

Anyone know if you still graduate from QD if you passed and got your cdls but dont pass the 90 or celadon driving test to get hired by celadon?

Technically, no, you don't graduate unless you pass the 90 and do the 10,000 miles. From what I have heard, it is not a big deal to other companies out there if you don't officially graduate. They all have their own driver training programs.

Not having an engine brake certainly makes it interesting.

Yet another story of company ineptitude.

Question I have now is how your record may be affected due to this "termination" because of someone else's screwup.

Sup I have joined the club how long did you wait on a trainer if you mind me asking? I've gotten through the program and have my cdl passed the 90 and road test. Tomorrow is day three the last day of orientation.

I was trained by my brother, so I went straight from orientation to out on the road. Some I know waited two days. A couple of smokers had to wait two weeks. Average wait seemed to be about four or five days. A handful got sent to other cities to work as local drivers.

They gave you a 2015 Pete? Brand new out of school? Man that's nice... you said you tested with guys doing the lease purchase? Do they sign guys on with that right out a school, too?
