I changed the entire harness. In fact both ECM harnesses which would include the connector for the boost sensor. the one harness I still want to attack is the injector harness, and replace the turbo actuator.

I see you changed the differential pressure transducer (dealer lookup name for the delta p), but did you clean out the tubes running up to it from the EGR?

Still isn't doing as well I think it should. Right now it's on a 500HP time with "EGR Delete".

Update. So I had it tuned with the "EGR Delete" at 600hp, then at 550hp. No improvements. Econometer says 5.85 after 4000 gals. Dispatch told me I send the most on fuel compared to the 19 O/Os here. And I never mentioned anything to them about it. So I have spoken with Rebel before told me what he told me. Dealt with the peeps in Effingham. I'm done. I'm going to Arrow, I don't have any more funds or time for this ########.

man. old thread still going strong....

here's what I suggest. if I'm not mistaken you hear a weird turbo noise and boost drops off at a certain psi. boost leak.

shops test with like 20 psi or 30 psi... take the boot off the air inlet side of the turbo where your air cleaner is and pressure test it there. block it on the intake side so you are testing turbos and cac. I don't give a #### if a shop tested it....... I had 2 shops test my cat at 30 psi and say all well.... I tested at 40psi and had air pissing out every orfice, same #### you described.

next is the amount of stop and go traffic your in. have you used your other truck on this exact job? reason I ask is I have a 06 vokvo with a 465 d12 18 speed 430 gears 24.5 rubber hauling oil. ... driving like granny hauling 3 axle traiker 100000lbs doing real short loads all within 100 mile radius I couldn't average more than 3.6 mpg but now hauling super b 5 axle trailer at 140000lbs doing 350 mile stretches I am up to 4.7 mpg.... that's alot of weight difference but it's the stop and go that killed my mileage.
