Cyn just ignore these idiots. As I understand it the one guy was a newbie nontrucker who went to their school and... knows nothing about trucking and the other is just one of the truckstop cowboys who come here to take out their issues. I hope all is going well. I'm probably going to crst monday and leasing as soon as they teach me securement. I'm nervous as heck, not because of the money etc etc but figuring out how to book my own loads well (which is also the part im EXCITED about). Good luck

Don't worry. There are a bunch of Trolls all over these boards. Keep your head in the game and read the fine print. It's not going to be daisies but at least you have an experienced driver as a teammate. I don't get the companies sending two new drivers out together. It's the blind leading the blind

So if i gather this correctly, you were a company driver and as a company driver you had a bad experience? Was this your first driving job starting out? Did they train you?

Yup and yup. Everyone has to start driving somewhere. The training part Idk 10 hours driving in school and a bad trainer I don't call that training. Lucky I knew how to drive semis before I had my cdl.

Then no, you were not referred to as a truck stop cowboy. I believe you are the newbie who went to their school and knows nothing about trucking.

Lol! Makes me laugh so much. No one will ever know everything about trucking. But I know when I'm getting screwed and when I'm not. At Crst I was.

No, i dont know everything about trucking. In fact, i wouldnt consider myself much more than a green horn, ive got a lot to learn. But i do know how to read. You asked a question, i answered it, and now youre back here trolling for more.

    1) you didnt like your training: well you passed your cdl test didnt you? Or did you get your license in a cereal box?
    2) you didnt like the pay: 0.12 a mile? So you didnt know that going into it before you signed on te dotted line? Thats nobodys fault but your own. But lets just say you knew about it, $300-500 a week? Is that per person or for the 2 of you? Assuming its per person that means you drove 5k-8500 miles/week? I thought you were complaining about bad pay and bad miles? Those are pretty strong miles, at least they gave you that. Correct me if im wrong.
    3) you had a bad truck: you did pretrips right? Fill out maint requests with all the things you found, right? Sometimes you just get a lemon of a truck, yes, but if you know a thing or 2 about trucks youll either see something wrong before you break down and can do pm on it, or you can tell by feel when youre drivig that something isnf right, and address it before it becomes a major problem.

ok, theres my 2 cents. Bring on the hate.

300-500 a week is on a good week maybe once a month rest was from 100-200 a week. Low pay n bad miles isn't good. And I was told I would be making .22 a mile. With being soloed at 2500 miles a week. None of that was true
