Did you find out if this is true or not? I live outside of Roanoke and would like to find something like this to get me by the house. If this is a dedicated then maybe could find something going that way then work back.

Popcorn, do you have a BiG Radio in your truck, or did a while back, like a 1000 watts?

Well I have a general lee radio and I have had bigger radios such as galaxie but not 1000 watt radios. If I may why do you ask?

I was running north on 81 a while back and heard a guy on a CB far away. He claimed he was running a 1000w and when he came up beside me to pass, he about made me crash, when he keyed up. He said his handle was popcorn. Is from around that area.

Well guys, I guess that this is it for "maloneguy". I left last week to go to American Transport. I guess i could call myself "American guy", haha.

I am afraid that was not me. The biggest radio I had was about 450 watts. But that was several years ago. Would like to know who he was though. Have a great day. By the way what did you end up doing buy you about a truck? If I remember correctly you was thinking about a couple different options.

Malone Guy why did you make the switch? Are you going to be a lease operator or a company driver? Did you enjoy the Malone experience or was it a joke?

He posted elsewhere that it wasn't anything against Malone, but where he is at now was better for him financially. He's an owner operator, not a lease purchase driver.

Saw the post. Just like a true trucker, I won't stay quiet. Things are good at American Transport. Been busy staying south for the winter and things are looking good for $$$ this year. Glad I'm in flatbed. Thankful actually.

Got another Malone contractor to come over here. He has been doing better than me from the start.

I like Malone still. Took a load for CRST Logistics just last week but haven't done any work for the actual agents, that I know of (could be one hiding behind a business name). Good company freight where I am at and I get paid for loads within 8 hours or so.

Thinking about buying a stepdeck now. Lots of shiny chrome stuff at MATS yesterday got me spoiled. LOL

    Happy trails
