Sounds like an electrical wire was pulled loose when the guy stuck a wire down inside the door.

Bring it to the dealer.

Look on the bright side now you will not lock yourself out again!

It wont lock with the key?

Get the door panel off to look for the steel wire the unlocker pulled out of its hole that it was snapped into, a clip maybe on the inside of bottom of the door that will have to be snapped back in place?

So what. 30 or 40 bolts to get into the inner door???

Tip: keep several spare keys and tape one or attach one with buckler somewhere safe on the outside of the truck that only you know where it is in case you lock yourself out.
Tip2: depending on the company or make model of truck I noticed a lot if keys are universal. I've heard and seen other drivers open other people's door. If you just ask around enough pple. That is if your at a truck stop in sure someone will be able help you get it opened.
Funny short story, I thought I had a broken lock once . I called road rescue and was a bit paranoid about having my stuff jacked. I tried playing with the locking mechanism from the side of the door and got it to lock but was confused what happened. The next morning I sighed relief as I found out my binder with all my permits and inspections ... In the side door compartment was jamming the door handle so it was allways open. Haha im just glad it wasn't anything worse cause last thing I wanted was to be sitting around a truck stop not working or getting paid. -
The linkage ether was bent or unhooked when the wire was used to unlock it.
You will ether have to pull the door panel off and fix it yourself or take it to a shop and have them do it.
