i looked at my load assingment again, first stop says 1100-1400 so i dont think the 5 min window applys....2nd stop says 1200-1500
its a 2.5-3 hour drive from 1st to 2nd stop.....So I'm going to get to stop 1 at 10am and see how quick i can get outta there, i dont wanna get stuck in missoula, i want another load and to get moveing. I've spent WAY to much time this month sitting.

I delivered an hour early and as i figured they dont care what time it is, in fact i over heard
a conversation on the phone between the Receiveing manager in Kallispell and the People in Salem, OR (where i picked up that load) and they were telling Salem, OR to shuv there stupid 5 min rule, and Salem, OR said fine do what you want we dont care.....
to the Receiveing guy, he doesnt like to sit and stare at a truck he cant load because its not "time" yet
anyhoo then i headed down to the Missoula, MT Home Depot and they were all excited i was early apparently Missoula W/S told them i would be lateso i got there stuff off, went to the Terminal turned in 3350+ miles $1,100 worth of Trip envelopes, then sat for two hours...until i was told no load today will get ya one in the morning
so i hauled butt for nothing
oh well.
Now im sitting at the Pee Lot/ Town Pump with the TTR's very own 07-379.
Oh and i saw a T660 in missoula....not a midroof so i like it! I was kinda hopeing someone would see me rubbing up against it and give it to meJK but seriously i would take that truck in a secound, very nice.
Then while i sat for 2 hours, i drooled over the 2 yes TWO MT Step Decks sitting in Missoula.....with no truck attached.......I'll take one plz
There were a butt load of MT Flatbedders there...but no Joe/Trill
So i'm hopeing to get a good load in the morning, crossing my fingers for no CA.
I also ran into another W/S driver here that i met on his first week about a month ago in Conover, his NEW randmcnally GPS speakers arnt working, and RandMcNally told him to get to some internet and hook it up and call them. So we hooked it to my computer and they were closed....

oh i almost forgot.
I spent all that time drooling all over the KW and the Step Decks and i forgot to hunt down rick and ask about switching to FB.....oops
I'll call him in the morning and see whats up. From what Tim has told me there are only a few FB'ers out of conover so im hopeing they need more east coast guys so i dont have to wait in line for a trailer thats already sitting at the terminal...without a driver

oppsi i thought i updated last night
my bad...
Ok so yesterday just as i was gonna go bang on 07-379's door and meet him i get a QC with a load that i need to be loading in 15 minutes!So i didnt get to meet him as i had to haul butt.
But anyway so i got an MT weight, then went and got loaded, and reweighed. got my axles CA legal and reweighed again since i forgot the first timeoops
Then i went to the missoula Terminal and spent 30 min trying to figure out how to get the stupid fuel out while getting directions via text from Chris (charlb)
Then I hauled butt down to Springville, UT and did exactly a 10 hour break and a pre-trip and i was on tha road again....
Then i got to the Loves in Las Vegas this morning, and fueled and met OneShot only got to talk to him for a secound i had to go.
Anyway then i came to the Loves in Barstow, CA and was told to check in in the morning to make sure i can repower it, as this doesnt unload until Friday 11am in LA, so i want to repower in SFS and get the hello outta CA.
Also some biggish news:
I called Missoula this morning and talked to Rich, then Troy about switching to Flatbedding. And wouldnt you know it I was right!We do haul ALLOT of John Deer outta the Carolinas
AND they said Charlotte is Perfect place to live as a W/S FB'er. AND to top it off Troy said since we do the John Deer stuff there they'll need to set me up with a Step Deck
Which i told him is exactly what i wanted
. Anyway so he's got all my info and he transfered me to Kelby who didnt answer so i left a message. I was told to find out when he can get me into the next FB class....
Also FYI for anyone that might wanna try FB'ing. Rich said if you don't like it its no big deal to switch back to van.
Anyway so im hopeing to be pulling a Flatbed by the end of October! This is step 1 in my plan in being a O/O
Axe so ya gonna be in my class? we can be study buddies
