I'm approved and doing orientation in a week. Decided on a flat.
Should I post my first month experience for everybody that is still undecided?

Where are you running that you can't find anything over 2.00.. I almost never haul for less then 2.00 and have no problems finding loads with Mercer. Even with a 250 + mile dead head in and out every time I go home and trust me I go home every 5 to 10 days I am still averaging 1.76 for all mile this year. May not be better then some on here but I do make many 3.00+ trips out to SD, ND and NE that involves DH all the way out and that really brings my avg down.

yep put it right here on this thread, we welcome the view you will have.

Are the trailer lease new or used and what are the average payments on a flat or step just trying to desiderata about buying one outright or using there lease
-
I can only tell what I have been told. I dont drive for them til Oct 1st.
Flatbeds; they have both new and used at the terminal. Zero money down on all. You just pick. Stepdeck you will have to wait. They said they will try to get me one but not sure so I picked flat.
Payment is around 600 a month. Its a lease purchase not a straight lease. Thats all I know. Just trying to give you something until you find out more. I would call them. They are very cool and no pressure. -
Thanks I am in the approval process now just haven't asked on the trailer details yet I'll call this week

Cool deal. Chris over in recruiting owns a tatoo shop 2 blocks away.
