hey flatbed, next time ya talk to em, tell your recruiter brian i referd you. when you put it on the app at orientation, they must think i corralled you in the drivers room.

but seriously if any of you put any mercer driver down as a referral , please put his truck number or name when you do the original app over the phone.

evidently some would get guys to put it on there when they saw em arrive for orientation and offer to split the money.

    so my trk number 12523.

and as a side note this thread did get offtrack for a bit didnt it?

I was pulling my 8ft tarp over the top of machinery while I was hanging on to a pipe on the machine climbed up half way. And..........snap! pipe broke and down I went onto the parking lot. Truth! I got up after i caught my wind back and finished tarping that beast. I climbed up my ladder again. Took me 4 hours to tarp and I wouldn't let anyone help because it was my screw up.

I drove myself to my mothers house took a shower and went to the hospital. lol I took the cast off the next day and the rest is history.

    Travelinman Thanks this.

Ok that pig (44678lbs) of a load I took home.. after fuel I net $427.35
I loaded today nc to ks.
    15375lbs pays 2.02 $2329.92 minus fuel $722.86 PM $258.47 leaves $1348.59 to the truck.
sub total for the week minus $500 for helper. $1275.94

next load OK to SD pays 2.08 12000lbs. I will update on Monday and that will be the end of week 3 and then I'm going home to lick my wounds.

Keep an eye out of Sioux City, IA. We sometimes haul Cell Phone towers out of there. Says 44000# but is no where near that easy load and no tarp. I have hauled 3 loads out of there in the last 6 mo.

I appreciate that heads up. I used to haul out of that place a while back. I didn't know Mercer had that. Nice!

That's my back yard, I have never hauled anything out of there. They don't pay that well and typically go to bad areas.

OK Final update for this new guy at Mercer. I just bought all the fuel I need for this last load.

OK to SD pays $1841.97 minus fuel of $538.20 Leaves 1303.77 to the truck.

Total net for week 3 is $2579.71 not bad considering my added expense of a helper and getting a PM. I have a maintenance account however, I chose not to use it.
I bagged a load out WY 100 miles DH load Monday after I unload then to Texas. Then home hopefully. My helper flew home and I will do the rest on my own.

    I couldn't be happier.

If anyone feels that I deserve it, I would appreciate some ty's on this thread. lol. i'm being a forum n3rd.

Peace and good luck to everyone.

Thank you to skateboardman and Oscar for being honest about Mercer. It was your posts that really did it for me. In return I was completely honest about my situation starting out.
