    I grossed $110 for 2013.
Would be better if I pulled a flat enstead of a step.

Yeah but weren't you on sabbatical a while there? Funny you ask that. I do just fine with my flat but for the places I like to go most of the time the step would do me better. I guess the grass is always greener. Lol. Interesting though I have been keeping track of the weight I haul to see if a big house would be OK for me here. Since starting in Sept I have only pulled 5 loads that I couldn't have pulled with a bigger truck. And there were lighter loads available for each of them I just liked where those went a little better. For the original poster I would say money wise is really on par with anywhere else you may want to go. Its the people here that make all the difference. From the folks in the office to the other drivers you meet along the way. By far the best place I have ever worked

CCpenn: I'd totally agree, what makes this company special and different is the most helpful staff and people. There is money to be made here.

X3. And if you have smartphone, I phone, tablet or computer you can pick your own loads if you want too and not rely on your coordinator. So it's really up to you want you want to do or make. A heads up if you are going open deck try to buy as much of your gear before you sign on so you won't start in the hole for too much. Cannot stress that enough.

I do recommend anyone coming on board, go flat not a step.
Four times more loads available and steps get very little more per mile. Also the step loads are gone quickly because to many steps vs flatbeds trucks.
