I'm currently in orientation at holland, just finished my first day and i figured I'd start a thread since there's not a whole lot of info out there about them. They will get you a rental car to orientation and send you an efs check number to pay for gas up here. Once you get here, you will either be staying at the terminal in one of the driver sleeping rooms or at the red roof inn in fargo. The sleeping rooms at the terminal are actually pretty decent. They even have fairly large flat screen tvs in the rooms. Orientation starts at 8am tuesday morning. You will have your truck assigned to you and do a road test the first day, They also have a van for drivers to use while at the terminal. I will keep you guys updated as i finish orientation and get out on the road.

I used to work for Holland myself from August 2015 to May 2016, easily the best trucking company I’ve worked at. The pay is just ok, but they have lots of miles. I’d still be there if they didn’t require 3 weeks out. Good luck!

Do you get a week off after 3 weeks out.

Finished up with orientation today and got my first load. Picking up in big stone city,sd headed to tulare, California. The trucks are very well equipped, but they are governed at 65. So far I'm impressed.

Sounds like Saputo cheese, that’s one of their best customers. By the way, yes the trucks are governed at 65, but if you firmly depress the throttle 3 times, you’ll engage the passing gear, which bumps up the governor up to 70. This helps immensely with passing. It only allows 30 minutes per day at 70 though so use it sparingly.

I tried that but it doesn't seem to work on my truck, maybe I'm just doing it wrong
