My Experience at Pride Transport

PTL Inc a ok company for as a starter and a 2nd chance company. They aren't a "mega carrier" since they have less trucks where they don't qualify as being one. After going through their 2 part training program, u can stay company or do lease purchase. I am looking into them for to return to trucking after almost a year and 7 months of been out off the road.

 

DO NOT go to PTL. Read all the posts about a bad company. Go to Schneider.

 

Let your days of hitting #### be done with and move on.
Yeah you screwed up but like you said this was at least a minor event. Be glad you didn't get cited with a hit and run somehow and leave it in the past and build yourself a good career.

PS - it's refreshing to see a driver who isn't making a million excuses and blaming the company for everything. We appreciate that kind of thing here at TTR.

 

You are making a BIG MISTAKE if you go to work at PTL. It's not always about the money. READ THE POSTS!!!!!!! You've been warned. I'm done.

 

You had a hit and run, plus you failed to call your company when it happened....
That mirror could of been a person...

But you should have stopped.
I was stopped at a red light in the middle lane, a truck in the left lane clipped my mirror, he stopped, I pulled up to him and we both didn't have damage, we waved and went On our way.

 

Don't go to ptl, even swift is better. Be glad pride didn't put hit and run on your dac. Always use both mirrors next time and be careful

 

Lesson 1 dont hit another trucks mirror

 

I have to side with the safety department on this. Your trainer should of have you pull over somehow or either stop and put the 4 ways on! It's difficult being in that situation with alot of traffic, but at least a phone call by the driver In the passenger seat could have called. I feel bad for you. You didn't know and it may cost you down the road.
