Ohhh ok usx pays 48 to the truck. Go there, then.
-
Technically, the way it works out is the truck makes 39cpm, then the teams split the miles... so you can either say it as, I got 39 cpm for the miles I drove...or I got 19.5 cpm for all the miles the truck drove, even while I was asleep. But it works out the same either way and makes more sense to say I got 39cpm for the miles I drove, not "we split 39cpm"

39 to the truck is 1267 a week before taxes at 6500 miles. I know when I teamed it was dedicated, so it was different, but I got 22cpm (44 to the truck,) plus drop pay and averaged 6000-6700 miles a week. Teaming is where I learned patience. The money IMO isn't worth the fatigue.

Interesting first week solo. Spent Monday in Greer from 9 am til almost 8 pm getting assigned a truck. 2013 Cascadia with the wide single drives. She was awesome in the mountains with 42k in the box. Came down 75 then I 40 from Knoxville to Ashville and delivered back in Spartanburg. Never had to downshift lower than 7th.
They gave me a short haul from Greer to the Winston Salem area that delivered Tuesday am at 7. Only 172 paid miles but stacked an 1100 miler to MN on the back. As soon as I dropped in MN I had the 1000 plus load back to Spartanburg.
Stopped for the night as I type in VA off I 81. Load is going to NYC. Weather was horrible getting here. Still need to obtain a HUT permit before the live unload Mon. Will log just under 3000 miles first week. I'll be happy to keep that trend intact.robbiecox6, JOHNQPUBLIC and rbrtwbstr Thank this.
