That's true if you get an elog truck you have to stay on elog for 90 days but after that its up to you to keep it or go on paper. If you stay on it you are stuck with it for good. I am on it and I have no problem with it. You can even elect to have elog installed in a non elog truck. Heck they give you a raise to be on elog so its at least you have an incentive. About your truck since its an 05 it probably has a N14 cummins in it and if so those things pull like crazy.
trucker43 and Iwllnotlaydown Thank this. -
Ok yea thats pretty much what I heard to... Actually my truck has one of those mercedes engines and it pulls great, loaded and empty.. I was quite shocked.
-
Wow an 05 with a mercades? Never seen an 05 classic with one of those. I have a 09 cascadia with a mercades and they do pull really well. I will be heading up north tomorrow and who knows where I will end up.
-
Yea, no lie! thats what I said too lol... yea i dont see to many cascadias around. Thats what i was driving before i came over here. did they ask you if you wanted that truck or just put you in it? oh yea were at? Im goin to PA and right back tomorrow myself..
-
I had a 379 Pete flat top but this cascadia came open and being a big guy like I am I jumped on it. Yeah the Pete's look good but comfort means more to me than looks lol. I am actually heading up towards Indianapolis, still not sure where from there, probably Jeffersonville or Morris I would guess.

Hey Bud I start the end of October and heard nothing but good things of A&R the guy who started this Company started in 1962 him and his wife one truck and a trailer and they are corn farmers so looks like we have a good company here !!
trucker43 Thanks this. -
20 years of driving and changing from being a grocery hauler to bulk containers is a little nervous to me , but I have been talking to a couple of your fellow drivers in the northeast who talked very highly of you all , and said the money is there to make , I was hired yesterday but as long as my drug test and that lifting weight thingy turns out ok , I meet Jerry in Springfield and he is a down to earth guy and its nice seeing a driver run a terminal , and not some pencil pusher who has no clue , the one thing I can say is I feel real good on this big change, with my son serving our Country, I really can't wait to start and get to know my job so I can be once again good at what I do !!
trucker43 Thanks this. -
yea good company so far and people ive talked to been here for years... things have changed some according to drivers thats been here a long time but still good company overall...
