I live in Michigan. Been driving for 3 years now. I'm intrigued because I want to book my own loads. Sick of dispatch rushing to get things booked for 30 people and booking cheap to crappy places lol. Hey I appreciate you answering these questions for me.

I applied and got qualified. I scheduled orientation in March. Honestly, I'm excited to give it a go. Picking my own loads seems ideal. No one to blame for a bad week but me lol

Will do. I've been checking load boards everywhere I go with my current company just so I can get an idea of good freight and areas. Been able to find a lot over $2 a mile...as I passed a crst expedited truck on the 80 in Penn today I thought of another question for ya...do they tend to drag their heals for less major repairs?

no i dont think so. my buddy that's in a leasr truck had not had any problems out of them fixing things. if it is to expensive they will put you in a another truck. but i have heard of people having problems. but i have not seen it myself.

going into it with the right attitude means a lot. .and not every load will pay 2 dollars a mile you need to know that dead head is usually free unless you have something work out up front the load i am on now i got 250 to dead head to get it. because he needed it move. that don't happen all the time
