if you worked for fed ex as a team you will find no other company that is solo that will pay you the same amount you made at fed ex. if i was you , you be better off solo at fedex. unless you dont mind drop in pay.

Unfortunately, most FedEx contractors don't pay solo drivers nearly what they do their team drivers (and rightly so) but .50 cpm is all they wanted to pay. They also tend to give their solo drivers older trucks. And I'd still be pulling doubles.

I can do better easily somewhere else..and I have. Landed a rare opportunity at a small company just down the road paying $300 @ day plus hotel + per diem, ESOP, and more.

Dynamic Transit was at the top of my list at one point but after speaking to their recruiter, there just wasn't enough home time where I live.

Get home weekly ??? Not sure but the trucks do have refrigerators and a APU with a 1500 watt inverter. So if you have a microwave “like I do” than it will run it with no problem.

I gave them a call today asking if they hired teams. Told me its kind of a loaded answer. Yes we're more than welcome but they only have single bunk trucks.

I see they are putting some weird new mirrors on the hood of the trucks. Looks funky

Well I have been going through the process with Dynamic. So far so good. Living in Reno will not be a problem since they do have a lot of loads in the NW and two just down the 80 from me. Out 2-3 weeks which I am finding to be pretty much the norm anymore. I have gotten so used to automatics that i am a bit leary of driving a 10 speed again, but I guess it will come back quickly. Havent made my final decision yet.
Simon Trucking out of SLC is also on my list.

I’m at Dynamic now and wouldn’t change a thing.
