I was with the company 3 week, and yes they kepted me busy, gave me miles but when I was reporting that my truck a 2005 freightliner had no air, no heat and if I did try to idle It leaked oil all over the ground, so it went to one mechanic shop (i sat 2 days) they said its fixed, 2 days go by same problems, so this time went to a different terminal it went to the mechanic shop, (i sat 2 days) they said ok all done but the problems were still there I told them it needed to go to freightliner, they said go ahead bring it there,,but that would have ment sitting again on my money time, so I asked them cant i get a loaner or a different truck, my dm said well probably if we do that you will get a truck that is worse then the one you got,so that did it for me all i asked was to have a truck that worked right, its ashame they might have been ok but now that CRST just bought them out but there keeping the same name, who knows,,,,

Is it true when you said CRST just bought KLLM?can you pls elaborate more on this?KLLM has been getting very good feedbacks here but if they were gonna be run by CRST,things might change negatively soon.hope this is'nt true.
-
I haven't seen it posted anywhere on any other boards or via truck info posted that CRST has bought out KLLM.Does anyone have proof?
-
I have no proof one way or the other, but I have heard this rumor since I was working there last year. I doubt CRST is the company that bought them.
-
Pls clarify this info that came from you where you posted that CRST just bought out KLLM asap.
-
that this happened over 2 years ago. I have a buddy that works for KLLM and says that nothing has changed that he could notice. He's been there 10 years and his best friend has been there 3 years. He said that more new trucks seem to be comming on line and that KLLM's reputation and safety have improved, but other than that, no change. He likes his job with them. He said CRST is not running the company, but is the holding company or something like that. I don't know, somebody else may have to clarify because I can't get in touch with him right now.

Thanks guys for the inputs i just feel that shorstop should clarify this matter w/ proof because he's the one who made that statement on this thread. This site has been very helpful to us so we are responsible for the infos that we share here.

how do you expect me to show proof, when I was working there they posted a mesage that crst was buying major stock of the company, you want to know for sure ask KLLM or CRST all I did was write my bad experience with them in which did truly happen, but maybe it is because I am a female

To answer the question whether CRST is new owner or not, it is flat out NO !!!!!!! There has been no answer and no change on ownership as of 11-23-07. KLLM is still just KLLM in as far as ownership. It is still in the receivership process through the Feds. Last word we got from management 2 weeks ago is that it looks like the end of the year when they will annouce whether the owners of KLLM (The Lyles Family; the second L in KLLM) will be the rightful owners once again. Once made public, this will end the Bernie Ebbers and MCI/ Worldcom connection forever, finally. And I hope the Lyles Family gets it.
