Good day! Yes , I feel KLLM is a good company. Only you know what's in your bank account and your bills. If you need to get a job now, look on the web, like your doing now, and check out other companies. Good luck...........tj
Talked to the KLLM recruiter today he said they are still moving forward for the orientations in March. He said to call him at the end of next week. Thats good news since KLLM is the company I want to go with.
Well now I don't know what to believe. I just called and left a message with them. I was told all orientations have been cancelled until further notice. When is your orientation date Huskerdog? Mine was set for March 2nd and my recruiter is Martha (super nice lady).
Mine is scheduled for March 2nd as well. Now I don't know what to think either. My orientaion is in Jackson there is another one starting March 3rd in Atlanta.
I had orientation on Jan. 19th. My recruiter was also Martha. I am currently out doing my six weeks of training with a driver. My orientation date also got changed while I was waiting. Just make sure you keep in touch w/your recruiter so that you are "in the loop" and to make sure you don't fall through the cracks or get lost in the paperwork shuffle. I met Martha, she is a great lady, as are many folks I have met so far at KLLM. One advantage of having your orientation date moved back is there will be less chance of you having to wait for a trainer after your orientation is done. Some companies just herd you right in to orientation, then if trainers are not available, you sit and wait. I believe KLLM tries to keep the process smoother and not have people waiting if possible. Good luck to all of you that are in limbo.
I called today and confirmed that all March orientations have been cancelled. They said to call back mid-March to possibly get set up for an April orientation.
Yall will be pleased to know that KLLM has now ###### my DAC by saying I failed the road test. Considering that I never got to the road test, it sounds like they're begging for a pissing match.
RT is in the stewpot right now..... I've had to pull over and park it in Ohio. Getting gusts of 60+mph. Passed a rig blown over on it's side 5 miles back and there are signs and branches down all up and down I-69. I'm hauling all of 2039 pounds in my box. Light loads and high winds....NOT good bedfellows! It was getting hairier than a yak in winter just trying to keep my rig on the road I am now, thankfully, nestled between two other rigs at a rest area. So if I go over....I'm taking someone with me by God! Sounds like a hurricane out there and the weather channel site says it will howl until around 5am. On the up side...I get to be rocked to sleep tonight Jackson on Monday for my Owner Op orientation!!! RT
