    You, as a trainee, do the majority of the driving. The trainer is to stay in the passenger seat and drives sometimes if you get tired. My trainer only drove on rare occasions and he was great! I had fun and learned a ton of little tricks to help survive out there. Backpedal and catch up on this thread for more info.

    Hey, thanks for the info, you answered my question. BTW, I did read the entire thread, and the only thing I saw related to my question, was when you said you were looking forward to solo ing because you preferred to sleep in a truck that was not rolling.

    Knight has been good... shippers and consignees? not so much. They love holding you up for several hours and it seems the general public likes to crap all over truckers. I'm working on my patience.

    Just got a $289 ticket for parking at my house... WTF? Last time I parked here, cops waved at me and said hi. This time, I get a ticket once I got out of the truck and went inside. There are no warning signs, so I'm fighting it.

    well hopefully you didn't get the message over "QC" saying not to fully fuel until Saturday or Sunday. Cause that'll just add insult to injury. I'll call dispatch before i fuel to see if it dropped, if so i'm filling, if not i'll just grab 50gal.
