Sometimes good. Sometimes bad. At least this bad thing is all on another driver.

Smaggs here is hoping your 'sentence' with Knight is over soon-you get your year in and can move on. I know sometimes I may have posted harshly but it was cuz you were so blinded by what Knight told you and you wanted to hear- I get that- but there were so many people here that tried to warn you. I hope that you continue to pass on your experiences with Knight so that others who get treated such as you have been maybe will STAY AWAY FROM KNIGHT!!!!!!

It's happening again. Payroll severely screwed up. NO reimbursements and only got paid 300 bucks to drive 1900 miles. I'm at the Columbus, OH yard. I called and told them to Tcall this load and this truck isn't moving an inch until I'm paid in full.

I am also contacting BBB and IRS and anyone else I have to, in order to get Knight fully audited. I'm tired of this crap. I have to call in constantly and payroll just shoves me to the side.

I'm supposed to be on a sliding payscale of .32-40-something CPM. I only got paid .20CPM and NO per diem and NO reimbursements.

I still never got my money from last year. They just cooked the books and the cash never showed up in my bank account. I told this over Qualcomm to my dispatcher and I verbally explained all of this over the phone.

He's new and I've only had him for a few weeks.

I can't wait to hear the BS that payroll claims THIS time.

I already told my dispatcher to route me home... to actually pay me and then I can turn my truck in. I can't believe this is the way ANYONE thinks they can treat me.

I feel sorry for all the Knight drivers who don't notice these discrepancies. Even the ignorant don't deserve to be ripped off.

I also told my dispatcher on the phone that "I'm not earning a living like this" and "I'm refuse to break my ### apart and ruin my back in this crappy volvo for free"

"I'm turning my truck in, find another idiot to fill in the seat!"

I guess we're working to solve why nothing shows up on payroll. Gonna finish this job and see where I stand. I doubt I'll last in this industry if I always have to hold employer's hands.

I think you've been there long enough to get another gig within a few hours at a much more reputable company. Give me the word, I'll post a list as long as my leg.

Just make sure you do it all by the book Smaggs! Give proper notice in writing and when (if) you turn in the truck-take pics inside and out and leave it clean and ready to go! You don't need a mark on your DAC as one last insult from Knight!!!

Start checking out Craigs List in your area and see what local jobs are there-you have 8+ months now and you might be able to get something local with that amt of time. Or as Jarhed said -let him know and he can give you a list.

Seems to me that either a local job (if thats what he wants), or any OTR or regional gig would have him now. Companies are at least ACTING desperate to get butts in seats. I've seen some who demanded 1 yr experience two years ago now going as low as 6 mos. Either way, as I see it you've paid more dues than I could ever stomach being at Knight that long and dealing with pay screwups as much as you have. I don't think any prospective company would fault you for bailing if they are not paying you properly.
