The road is bumpy at first. For me it got smooth after 6 mos. I almost quit but glad I didn't. I love it now.

Sweet truck and good thread. I've been close to pulling the trigger on buying a truck for about a year now. Landstar is my first choice. Like that I can pick my own fright.
I assume it was easier to get financing on your second truck? I talked to a kw dealer a few months back, and they said even with great credit I should expect to put down 20%. Does that seen accurate to you? Would you suggest buying an average truck first, then moving onto a newer truck? Have been leaning towards a 100k truck that still has plenty of warranty left. -

i would suggest that you go to your personal bank. i went with mines for my first buy and got a lot better terms than with a commercial lender.
