You'll slowly forget about it as you're able to enjoy the luxury of watching all the NASCAR races on tv.

Good luck at the new job! You would rather do line haul than local P&D? Did you only have an interest in LTL as far as local driving goes? How about construction, landscape, food service, or tanker jobs such as hauling fuel? I personally wouldn't want to haul fuel. I'd hate to back in and out of gas stations.

Thanks. I wanted a fuel hauling job and will most likely end up there in the next few years. The ONLY job i would consider at a LTL company is line haul, i've done LTL with Watkins and i will never do it again, aint enough money in the world to make that happen lol. I have no interest in construction since its not full time work, weather/season/economy effect construction far to much. And i want nothing to do with lumping food either they dont pay enough for all that work.

IMO first shift line haul with NO dock work req is better then fuel hauling as far as work goes (less work) but fuel hauling will pay better till you get to the top of the pay at UPS/FedEX/Conway other then them 3 i'd take fuel anyday.

Yea food service pay is not that great for the work you do. I was doing that when i got hurt and it's constant work for 10 hours and you start really early in the morning. I would say it's more manual labor then driving.

What LTL company are you going to work for? You don't have to tell us yet if you don't want too. LOL
