XB you have the worst luck with that truck! I guess I got lucky with mine... Other than a light cool breeze in the bunk (a/c going out) the truck is alright.. I keep the curtain open at night to allow the front to blow to the back so its not all that bad.

I just hate idling all the time.. In the 2 weeks i've been out here I haven't had to idle twice.. and both days were in California where it got down to low 50's at night.. otherwise its been either too hot or too muggy and I can't sleep in either without A/C to control it. There goes my MPG bonus this summer!

if your in a 379 you aint ever gonna see that bonus anyway so dont worry about idleing effecting that. The trucks arent spec'd for fuel economy.

Now the cab A/C only blows on the floor but so far its been keeping cool. I got the sleeper A/C and raido fixed and the engine light was a speed sencior the was not letting the 8 and 9 shift and was sayin i had 127 quick stops. :biggrin_2559:

AT... ya i'm in a 379... #178. Good truck so far... glad to know I have no chance of obtaining it... I don't feel so bad now :biggrin_2559: I'm actually on my way to your neck of the woods... going to Clayton NC for a monday AM delivery. Stuck on a 34 right now until tomorrow in Alabama.. I think i have a grand total of 24 minutes on my 70. You weren't lying he would keep me running!

Floor vent is better than nothing.. especially if its keeping the truck cool but I can tell you I was down in Laredo yesterday folding my tarps and it was 100 degrees out.. i'm thankful to have dash vents for sure! Glad they got that 9th grer autoshift thing figured out.. when you explained it to me it didn't sound like what mine was doing.

You get the log/hours thing figured out? You haven't called me since so I figured your doing alright with it.

Anyone have problems with their OBC getting stuck on one page?

My messages screen is stuck on driver statistics and I can't clear it no matter what I push, and hard resetting it didn't work either. I logged out on a whim to see if that would fix it and when I logged back in it automatically put me on duty, thus screwing my 34.. and it didn't even fix it. Grrr. Hopefully the gal that does logs will fix it monday so I get my 34.. then tell me how to fix this issue.

The guy that hit me just pulled forward and acted like nothing happened. When he got out he asked me why I didnt stop him...gosh its midnight and I was sleeping. That comment pissed me off and I used some harsh language in his general direction but that was it. Nothing physical. To add insult to injury I broke my three month old samsung galaxy nexus as I was reaching for it to call dispatch. Slipped out of my hand hit something metal and that was that. I hadto use his phone to call n ight dispatch and the police.

xbmann - hang in there lol, they might have you turn it in sooner rather than later though

yeah, posted a picture of it in this thread

nope I've had different problems, she should be able to fix that pretty easily. I had it put me on duty last week and I had just moved the truck maybe 30 feet, I didnt even notice it until a couple hours later.
