I repowered a load from gainesville, tx going to a port in houston....i dont have a twic card yet so i brought it to the houston terminal and i'll see what im going to do about this in the am. They have local drivers so they might just have them bring it in rather they pay for an escort for me.

Easy load though, already secured, 5.5 hr drive lol

I hear ya. But I have to say, leaving that 379 and going to a football helmet style truck got me spoiled with all the extra room. Those TMC Petes were freakin sweet though.

    SheepDog Thanks this.

AT, i know you said the truck you tested in was a 9 speed 500 horse. are they all 9 speed? you would think hauling heavy loads like they tend to do, it would be atleast a 13. anyways looking forward to hearing more, and nice lookin truck. good luck, be safe, and happy holidays.

    P.S.
how bout some more pics when you get a chance.

Most are 9s, some of the day cabs have 10's, the 4 Axle trucks have 18 spds. The 389 they are getting rid of have 18's from what ive been told. All the new ones will be 9spds, but from what the guys that have them so far they said they are set up to run on a 9spd and they pull great "from what i've been told"

I would think a 13 or an 18 would make more sence for a company that regularly hauls 100,000-500,000lbs loads....but whatever lol
