Freight is incredibly slow in Texas. Dropped my load at Morris yesterday morning and got dispatched at 1600 yesterday to pickup today at 1100 in Baytown. I just got loaded. There's 7 LST trucks here including myself. Appears we're all headed to Brownsville too.

I ended up getting a short one myself, basically San Antonio to just east of Houston. Picks up tomorrow and might not be able to deliver until the next day, gonna find out tomorrow.

Yeah, this thread is about dead.. but we still get alot of views.

glad they got ya movin' AZS. I was gonna message ya this weekend but, yeah, I forgot. Sorry bro. Had I actually picked up that machine from Toledo, OH and taken it to Laredo I coulda stopped in and kept ya company for the night (read "drink beer for a few hours"). But, maybe next time.

I delivered in Houston on Monday at the port, then got into the shop. I had fuses blown all over the place.. but shes back to workin' again. Then, I picked up a excavator on Tuesday from Galveston and drug that to Oklahoma City and delivered that this morning. This thing was a beast! I was 104,500 total weight. And, had to stop enroute, unchain it all, and move it backwards 3' cuz the weight on my drives was too much for what OK would permit me. What a nightmare! I dunno why but this is my favorite thing to haul.

I'm sitting in OKC the rest of the day, then tomorrow i'll mosey up to Lowell, AR and will be picking up a backhoe from what I can only assume is a construction company as I can't find anything about them on the net and deliver that in... wait for it... Oklahoma City... lol. My deadhead up there is more than the miles paid to come back. Go figure. But, at least i'm moving. I'm kinda glad i'm sitting today because I'm just not feelin' it.

DJ & MB.. what are y'alls truck numbers? PM me if you don't wanna put it out there. I'd like to keep an eye out for you guys... The J in New Caney TX, outside Houston, looked like a lonestar yard come Sunday we had so many of us there with CAT parts. Was rediculous!

    LOL@Canuckistan.

The tower I hauled was a level 2 that apparently goes towards my level 3... so that was cool. And this one was 11'2" wide.. which is another level 1 load. I'm pretty sure I got level 1 at the end of July... 24ish... so Im coming up on it with the time requirements, and I know I have to be close on size requirements. I had at least 3 by the end of September out of Decatur and Laredo, the one you and I hauled up to KY, this one, the tower....so I've gotta be getting close.

I don't keep track, but come Feb 1 if I haven't heard anything i'll ask my DM if he could follow up and see where I stand.

I'm in 284. Bubble nose 387. Taking a dump bed up to Baltimore from Laredo to deliver on Tuesday. MLK day is delaying the delivery. Just gives me more time to hear the gun shots ring out in Baltimore.

I think they tried giving me one of those loads the day after I broke down, I had to decline however because, uh, I was broke down. Not sure what they were thinking there. Anyway, drove from Baytown this morning to pick up this load in NW Houston, 40 miles in rush hour traffic just to find out the stuff was at a different place 34 miles back in rush hour traffic towards downtown Houston. Guess I was due for that, every address in the past has been right.

I see you guys hauling those up here all the time. You're talking about the dump beds for haul trucks right the real wide ones? I always wondered where those are coming from do all of them come out of Laredo?

There are those down there but I don't fall them. The one I have now is half a dump bed in about 6 pieces. My load is legal. [IMG]
