I wish I could if I could do that. Then I would be able to write instruction manual's. It's basically like maverick does it but the brushstrokes just a tick different.
I could show you in one min. but for me to try to explain it probably take me two pages and I still would not have it right.

I will try to remember to take a photo or two and see if I can post them. Have to remember I am old and technically challenged. Like I tell my son if this #### smart phone was so smart it would already know what I want to do.

Well, i figured i would post an update. Last week went by pretty good for the most part, except for alot of waiting at shipper and receivers. I understand that is part of it, but we really waited a lot! Anyhow, we unloaded in Tulsa Monday and reloaded in Ft Smith at Gerdau Monday night (supposed to be Monday night. Ended up being Tuesday morning!). That took us to Chicago for a Wednesday morning delivery. We didn't get unloaded till late Wednesday afternoon and didn't get a w/a till Thursday morning. We reloaded in Burns Harbor and headed to Mississippi. That was unloaded Friday am, and we picked up another load down there that got us through Little Rock late Wednesday night.

I got up Saturday morning and went to the terminal to start the final evaluation process (which could be consolidated down to 1 day pretty easily)! We did about 6 hours of testing including the simulator on Saturday and went back for about 2 hours Monday to finish up and watch a couple videos. Everything was pretty easy with the notes I took before. I went back over Tuesday and met my temporary FM and went over some paperwork. I found out that afternoon that I was flying to Laurinburg on Wednesday morning to get a truck and being deadheaded home! Thank god! Finally!! I am at the airport now and hopefully will get to sleep in my bed at the house tonight for the first time in 6 weeks!

All in all, even though I got frustrated at times, I really did enjoy the whole process! I am thoroughly impressed with the way the whole orientation and training process is handled. I plan on taking a week or so off before I head out so I can get some stuff done at home but I can't wait to begin on my own! I am sure I will have questions, but I know there is always help available!!

Thank you for answering these questions. Even though I did not ask these myself, a few of the questions came to mind. My husband has driven for almost 8 years and is possibly looking into this company. He has done just about all of it. He flatbeds right now, but conastoga, as he cannot carry the tarps do to an injury he got about a year ago. He has a very good mvr, reliable, and responsible. We are thinking he will give up the Flat bed division and go for the Temp Control. Does anyone know how that division is doing since it is relativly newer?
    Thank you in advance.

Bad news. If he cant lift a tarp Mav wont hire him even for TCD. All applicants go thru the same physical requirements regardless of division.

Thanks! I've enjoyed the time at home but I'm definitely ready to head back out on the road. I have to call in to my FM in the am to have him put me on the board. The truck is all set up and ready to roll!
