because I'm a student this is what I will get..... Pay is kinda low but it seems worth it....
    Trainee Compensation Package

Trainee will be paid $450.00 per week for the first 30 days or when trainer deems you are qualified to move to the second phase of training
Phase two of training, “Team” status and is paid 14 cents per mile, all miles to truck.
During the training period the Trainee is not eligible for Detention and Bonus (Miles or Fuel Share). When the trainee moves to Team Status trainee is then eligible for layover pay. (Layover pay is paid to the truck and split between the trainer and trainee.)
After the training period, you are eligible to receive the extras Fuel bonus, Stop Pay, Detention Pay Layover pay, break down pay etc.
After 60 days you are also eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance
When trainer deems you are qualified, you can go solo @ $.30 cents per mile
At one year from hire date the solo wage will increase to $.32cmp.
Pride Transport will reimburse tuition cost of attending a certified CDL school up to $6000.00 at a rate of $125.00 per month until tuition is reimbursed or employment with Pride Transport is terminated for any reason. Reimbursements will start at 90 days from hire date, and pay monthly .
That is just the general information to find out more please give me a call.

Team pay is different . starts at 40 cents a mile for up to one year experience, so that would be 20 cents to you for all miles to the truck. You have to split the cents per mile pay, if both of you have 1 year or less it is 40 cents to the truck , 20 CPM a piece.
Pay goes up with more experience.

I think they are pretty good, that is better than what I did as a trainee. Once you get some experience you will do better. That is .32 then the bonuses on top of that correct?

Not sure. Brian asked if I would like to come up and tour the facility today, since I have to be in Salt Lake later today anyway, I figured, why not.
I will ask him if Ken is still there and let ya know.

I finally made it up to talk to Brian in recruiting, had a chance to see the new trucks, talk to some people in safety, and had the opportunity to ask a few drivers how they liked it there, they seemed pretty happy. Everyone greeted me with a smile.
