I lease to trans am, So far still doing good , a year of service , got my 1 cent per mile raise, lots of miles , even with all the time i took off in my first year, my avg miles per week avg of 52 weeks was 3180. Fuel is very important, i dont roll any faster then 60 unless it can gain me something(time getting to shipper for a 10 hour break, early delievery etc) but usally 57-60 and i try to get at least 7 mpg. Road assist, driver mgrs, curtis in olethe, everyone i can get along with. as far as the maint escrow i bumped it up to 0.07 cent per mile just so i would not be in the hole later on. But over all in one year will be then end of my lease and i will hopefully buy it out and continue with TA. they get you home on or was before your requested home time.

I would love to see the calculator you guys are using. You can't make any money paying $580 a week plus .05 cpm running for .84 cpm plus fsc. Ain't happening I don't care what arguement you come up with. Celadons flease is .25 cpm truck payment for 400,000 miles on a 2010 Prostar. That's $100,000 for a truck you can buy off a dealers lot for 65 to 70,000. Don't forget plates, insurance and fuel and road tax as well as the heavy vehicle tax. You need to do a lot more homework.
