Just an observation. At least 3 people have been thru here at LM while I was getting my issues fixed and my dyno done. Not one of them were here longer than it took to do a quick test drive and sign the paperwork. .. One guy even said -" all that stuff is just a waste of money. I can tell how the truck is running by the test drive. " :biggrin_25512:

Those are the same types that will be on here in 6 months telling us that Lone Mountain is evil and "did them wrong".

Just wanted to share my experience regarding Lone Mountain. I purchase a truck from them back in 2009. All went well, didn't have any major issues with truck other than routine maintenance issues. I was pleased with the overall experience. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Dyno came back real good. Found a few more minor things since signing the paperwork and taking the truck, But it was to be expected. For the most part, my experience went very well.

my buddy got a truck from lone mountain a few years ago. 780 Volvo auto and for a total of $58,000ish(down payment and monthly total) with just under 500,000 miles. got it checked out and did the dyno and a road test pulling a loaded trailer. within the first year he dropped $34,000 into it! I kept telling him take the hit and kill it. he just had really bad luck. over the last year and a half the bleeding has finally stopped and is pretty much tires and $800 a month average. he did his due diligence just with the worst luck!

You are correct. You can do everything to check out a truck (or auto) and things can still go wrong. An associate checked everything out and on his first long run, the rear end went out. All mechanical things break.
