It's not a purse. It's a satchel. Even Indiana Jones has one.

Speaking of purses, your chick left hers in my truck...although I suspect it was on purpose.

I don't miss tarping in the wind and rain, for less than minimum wage, or rolling muddy straps, or bring filthy all the time.

At least while I'm rolling those muddy straps, I'm not tied up for hours at a dock being treated less than human. "Give me your keys. Go stand in this box. No toilet for you!"

I am not so lucky with the company I signed on with for the last year now. I have to deliver a lot of coils to Arconic in Texarkana, 24 hour waits there are normal.

Protip: Make some conversation with whoever handles trucks checkin in or whoever you need to, learn their name and get them to remember you. Next time you show up, start up the conversation and offer up $20 if they can get you in quicker.

Also, if you're just sitting around for 24hrs waiting to be unloaded, your dispatcher needs to be on the phone letting them know that they're about to start paying a lot of detention time. Unless your company already gets paid for it and just screws you over.

Yes you can. My friend is a company driver and they put him up in a hotel each night. But for an O/O it will be costly. If I remember correctly, DOT has requirements for sleeper berths. So you might get in a jam with DOT if your try logging your 10 in a day cab.
