Oh ok. I was thinking interchange insurance was only if the trailer wasn’t considered cargo. I know a true power only like a genset or MRI trailer it is considered cargo. I wasn’t sure about moving new trailers

My advice is to knock the dust from your feet and move on. I would not do the load and I would take my 75 bucks. If they pay it great if not that’s fine too. Either way I wouldn’t work with them again. There is a good chance they wouldn’t work with you again either.Last edited: Jun 11, 2023

In a world of cheap freight we're now getting all heated up over $75 lol, that's where we're at now.
TheLoadOut and gekko1323 Thank this. -

Tell them they will struggle and lose business continuing to give work to this broker starting with my truck.
In all fairness all brokers lie and screw over people like it's common practice though. -
TheLoadOut Thanks this.

Upon reading this whole thread this morning, a couple of you are reasonable and professional. The majority of you have no idea what you are talking about and OP is not in a position to negotiate the way you think he should be based on the situation. Its super obvious based on some of your response to the rate you don't understand the type of load this is then you're going to go around and giving crappy advice that will do nothing but HURT OP.
OP, Just leave it alone. If they give you a TONU great. If not, you aren't owed one. They dispatched you, you had the opp to get the trailer and STAY ON SITE until they paper work was fixed. If you wanted this load, that is what you should have done. By your OWN words, you think that the paper trail shows they agreed to give you the load and will hold up in court. Which means they will point out that you could have made pick up, and by your standards already had legit paperwork for said load, but that you MISSED the pick up thus VOIDING the agreement. But keep listening to some of these unprofessional participants and you will find YOU are the one going out of business.Jubal Early Times Thanks this. -
Do you really expect us to trust a broker that much? You guys have a lot of negative feelings and experiences to overcome before you ask the drivers to take your advice without exception.
Is there some bad advice from drivers here? Yes there is, but it's given honestly and isn't designed to screw anybody. The same can't be said of broker's advice.gekko1323, MACK E-6, Jubal Early Times and 2 others Thank this.
