I have documented per QC to Night dispatch and my DM about my two weeks in the heat 100 plus two weeks straight, I still got charged thats why I was irritated to no end. plius only 1800 miles a week is nothing and they take money out my pocket still!

I was all set to jump over to May at the beginning of July until I got to talking to a May driver and he told me about being charged for idling. Deal breaker for me.

Screw that. I'd throw the keys at 'em and give 'em the finger and walk out the door. Charged for idling, what a crock of sheet.

so you're saying you have to start from the beginning?
    Depends where you live.
I drive for another starter company (trainer). All our trucks have APUs so idling isn't an issue.
Give more details on what you're wanting. There are several good training companies out there.

Stay away from CR England....Swift, Central Refrigerated, the best bet would be complete schooling and before the end of it...contact Watkins-Shephard...the orientation/training in Missoula is a bit long...but no "trainer time"...finish orientation and you go in your truck.

Check out the WS or Watkins Shephard threads....you'll understand!

If home is ogden you have lots of choices. Sharp would be high on my list for refrigerated. Smoot Bros would be on there for flatbed. Theres lots of smaller carriers up there that will suit you alot better than a mega carrier.

well this is my deal... I drove back in 2006. drove for approximately 10 months... 4 months with May then I switched to knight transportation... Haven't drove since 2007... starting school again tomorrow with roadmaster... paying $3995 out of my pocket to go through school again.. so If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear... do any of these smaller companies hirer someone basically fresh out of school.... and I hate to admit to laziness but I really don't want to unload my own truck... would rather just pick up deliver etc....

    any comments are welcomed.
