I'm currently on my first wait for a load and it's only going to be a couple of hours...I just dropped my last load off in Atlanta this morning then ran to the Dalton terminal and now I'm sitting in the Pilot just up the road...
You don't have to tell me about it! I drive that sh**t every morning and evening to and from work. It sucks for sure! I got a cure for that but the our government thinks everyone has rights! Read into that what you want...
I live south end airport area I try to stay out of northside as much as possible especially top end perimiter and 400. I'm begging to think they'll never quite woking on the freeway in Gwinnett County. I heard tell that W/S has hired on quite a few drivers lately and that that they have offered the opportunity to ride a couple weeks with another driver at start. You guy's hearing anything about that? Good luck Walstib, I've been out a while, remember you posting when you were heading to orientation, it doesn't seem that long ago. Go on, relax a little, remember what you've learned, drive the truck and when you've figured all that out I could use a lesson or two Merry Christmas, Randy
When I talk to Sandy in recruiting, she had made that comment to me. She said that IF there were no available trucks, then you can go out and ride with a current driver until one becomes available. She also stated that W/S doesn't want to leave the new guys sitting around waiting when they could be out getting some miles with a current driver. Sounds like we might be able to request someone if they don't have a truck available...
