I never have. I would never disconnect from the load unless it was in a secure location.
And even then,.. I would probably just call a cab.

There was somewhere out east that they routed you under a bridge but it said on the permit "You must be in the far left lane" because there was 2' difference in clearance between the far right lane and the far left lane. Well I expect to be able to stop at a truck stop off an exit. I can hold off on the food, but fuel and restroom are none negotiable.
