I've ran a few thru Maryland and they have never said a word about my signs saying "oversize load"

Ran into and out of the Port at Baltimore with OD loads in and out. Not one time have I had a DOT cop/scale guy say a word about my "oversize load" signs. Mind, I may have missed it, but I do not recall reading "wide load" signs are the only ones they want anywhere on the permit/condition sheet neither.

I have the latest provision sheet from Md in the truck, but honestly cannot be bothered arguing about something so stupid. It looks like others, as well as myself, have hauled OD loads through there on a pretty regular basis with the normal signage, and never had an issue at any scales etc. And I honestly believe that if any state could issue a ticket for something genuine, Md would be right near the top of that little list.
Looks like TTR is turning into Ch19 at the local Ta/Petro/Pilot at times unfortunately.

Rule of thumb. Flags by day, lights by night.
aiwiron Thanks this. -
Easy runs are the best when you're just starting out no matter what type of load you pull.
