What if you have a year OTR in the same lanes they run, is there a way to get out of going out with a trainer?

So as a new driver with little time behind the wheel they still hire you if you grind them gears,i drove a 10 speed in the Rutherford area in new jersey i got the hang of it but still would of had more time behind the wheel, needless to say alot of down shifting....
...all them on and off ramps and some are on such a curve you almost have to go 10mph around them....I am a fast hands on learner so you think i would get hired on as long as i keep my mouth shut and walk my own path and do what they ask..i just want to work and when i do i am in my own zone....i am a jack of all trades master of none welding roofing plumbing framer haz-mat specialist...worked at clean harbors drove stake bodies with bob cat on the trailer through NYC,Sunnyside queens ALONG the BQE...What a nightmare sometimes fly right by Yankee stadium....The Bronx....mid town...even though it was not a semi but it still a learning exp.WOULD I MAKE IT @TMC.....:smt071

Any TMC guys out of Atlanta out there? I have a pre hire from them and am considering joining them in April. How often are you home out of GA and what is the money like running out of GA?
